In 2022, RGF Staffing NZ (Chandler Macleod, OCG Consulting, and Peoplebank NZ) re-established their top diversity initiatives, planning goals around how to create more inclusive and diverse hiring practices, as well as creating a welcoming and safe culture internally for all.
One of these initiatives centred around a commitment to the LGBTTQIA+ community. As an organisation, we have always been accepting of people who identify as part of the LGBTTQIA+ community, but we would also like to enhance and improve recruiting practices to encourage people from the LGBTTQIA+ space to apply for roles. Our first aim was to provide internal education on how to do so effectively. This commitment led us to approach Pride Pledge.

We are honoured and proud to take the Pride Pledge so that we can be held accountable for our promise to the safety, visibility, and inclusion of the LGBTTQIA+ community within our workforce and the wider community.
As one of our business goals was to provide training, we were very lucky to have Marty King from Pride Pledge come and train, discuss, and answer questions our team had regarding the Rainbow community, and help our team improve their understanding of the community to help assist them in the best way possible on their job hunting journey.
