Mid-sized Auckland based brokerage firm are now seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Broker to join the Auckland team and focus on their key property and construction clients. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role with the potential to build and grow your own team.

As a Senior Insurance Broker, you will manage a portfolio of high-value property and construction clients, ensuring top-notch service and comprehensive insurance solutions. You will be responsible for presenting to C-suite executives and working closely with some of New Zealand’s largest businesses. This role requires a proactive, strategic mindset and the ability to build lasting relationships at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of large property and construction clients.
  • Present complex insurance strategies to C-suite clients, providing tailored advice.
  • Collaborate with other senior brokers and specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand the property and construction client base.
  • Work closely with major industry players, ensuring that all client needs are met effectively.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on property and construction clients.
  • Strong background in presenting and working with executive-level clients and large businesses.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding client service and growing client portfolios.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
