This particular programme of work started in 2022 with an initial focus on gathering evidence and data through the Research and Science teams.
It is now shifting into a policy development phase to consider the possible application of the findings.
Descriptions:
- The focus of the Principal Analyst will be to progress policy development and sector engagement to provide ongoing momentum and ensure senior leaders can make timely and informed decisions,
- This will involve progressing, based on insights from research to date, policy analysis to accommodate new measurement technologies, identifying pathways for implementation, and engaging and collaborating with the sector on options.
Deliverables/Key priorities Performance Criteria/Measures:
- Lead finalisation of current-state analysis/ problem definition/ objectives and criteria framework,
- Begin working with the sector to understand current state and consider overall direction of measurements, and any potential changes to the existing measurement approach,
- Provide the opportunity for key stakeholders to be engaged throughout the process,
- Identify, assess, and recommend pathways to address issues identified during the problem analysis,
- Provide advice on the pathway forward,
- Present to key stakeholders including Governance Group,
- Recommend detailed options/process to progress agreed pathway.
