About the contract/temp opportunity:

In this fixed term role, you will be responsible for coordinating science assessing committee meetings and research funding processes. You will be comfortable communicating with researchers and research organisations, maintaining external relationships with stakeholders and funding partners, reviewing and developing documents to ensure they're fit for purpose, and taking meeting minutes. You will be responsible for completing compliance checks for new applications and completing budget checks. This is a busy but pivotal role where there will be lots of opportunities to step up and try new things. The successful candidate will be committed to achieving health equity for all people in Aotearoa.

What you need:

A tertiary qualification in Public Health or a health-related degree is preferred for this role. You will be personable, have excellent communication, can learn quickly and have exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for details. You will be able to evidence your ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and your high levels of initiative which are critical in this varied and busy role.
