About the role:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and buildings are maintained safely and efficiently, with minimal disruption to production. This permanent position provides the opportunity to work closely with Operations Managers, Production Managers, and Machine Operators to optimise equipment performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) standards
• Promptly resolving issues to maintain production capability with minimal downtime
• Implementing and managing preventive maintenance schedules and predictive maintenance systems
• Developing and implementing action plans to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring quality standards are met
About you:
You are a proactive and skilled industrial electrician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment where safety, quality and continuous improvement was at the forefront. With fault finding one of your key strengths, you bring a collaborative approach and are happy to roll your sleeves us to assist your close-knit team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
• Minimum trade or post-trade qualification (a tertiary qualification is desirable)
• Experience in a similar role within a modern manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance with quality policies
