About the Role:

Are you ready to take the helm of their New Zealand distribution sales team and lead a high-performing team? As the New Zealand Distribution General Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to grow market share, enhance customer value, and contribute to their leadership standing in the distribution industry. You will be responsible for winning, growing, managing, and nurturing customer relationships, while also balancing investment appetite with a cost-conscious mindset. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of their New Zealand distribution business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Leading the New Zealand distribution sales team to achieve continued success.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to grow market share and customer value.
- Managing a full P&L, focusing on generating profit and improved free cashflow.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Driving and reporting on business performance, including financial results and customer satisfaction.

About You:

You are a proactive, initiative-driven leader with a passion for driving business growth and customer satisfaction. You have a strong background in distribution, sales, and customer relationship management, and you thrive in high-pressure environments where your decisions make a significant impact.

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need: 

- 10+ years of experience in distribution, with a strong understanding of commercial drivers.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager, with existing relationships in the consumer electronics industry.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in developing business cases, budgets, and performance reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and organisational skills.
- A growth mindset, with the ability to learn, collaborate, coach, and mentor others.
