Working for a well established New Zealand financial advisory firm with over 25 years in the market, this role is based out of the Auckland office and will be taking on a current insurance book of circa $120k income with a mix of commercial clients.
You initially will be working with the broking manager to meet and service the clients in the existing book, before building relationships with financial advisors internally to gather leads and develop new business.
This a new role in a small 15 person office, with a flexible family like culture and mature working environment. They offer 2 -3 days work from home as well as flexible hours.
The Role:
- Build strong relationships with the existing client portfolios and retain their business
- Develop new business opportunities and is passionate about meeting new people
- Ensure on going cover is maintained for clients
- Negotiate rates and terms with the underwriters
- Process all renewals, new business, alterations and cancellations in a timely manner
- Maintain existing portfolio of commercial clients on policy changes, endorsements and alterations
- Analyse client requirement needs and provide the best cover solution
- Identify, and act on opportunities to grow the portfolio by leveraging existing relationships
You will need:
- Level 5 Qualification
- Commercial insurance broker experience
- Business development experience
- Liability product knowledge
